Concussions and Small Groups

My wife, Julie got a concussion in February and then a couple of weeks ago injured her head again. She has experienced dizziness, headaches and fatigue.  It has been difficult for her to work, to be with friends and do the normal things of life.  Through this time the church family and our small group has been an constant source of encouragement. They have made us meals, cleaned our house and done a number of little tasks that has eased our load.  we have been grateful.

Last week I met  with the small group leaders and hear similar stories of how God was working in them and through them. There were stories of people growing and changing and stories of people connecting and caring for each other. It was exciting for me to hear that our experience had been repeated in other groups.

Small groups are the primary way we connect in community and grow our faith. We have groups that are meeting all the time. If you are not in a group I would encourage you to join one soon. Look at the ministries tap and go to small groups to see a list.

Some small groups are discussing the Sunday sermons. If your group is interested in this, you can get the sermon questions at this link- click here

Would you try out a small group?
