The Big God Story
We define the “The Big God Story” as God’s ENTIRE story. It incorporates all of history, stretching from Genesis to Revelation and beyond. Perhaps we are more familiar with fragmented stories of God, Jesus, or other people in the Bible, as if they were not part of a greater narrative. Now we have the opportunity to communicate each Bible story within the context of The Big God Story, so the Bible becomes much more than just a collection of short stories. Each lesson is centered on God and how He works in our lives.
God has woven His redemptive plan throughout time and we want kids to understand that they not only play a part in this incredible story, but are also part of a much larger faith community of past, present, and future believers.
Tru is all about Spiritual Formation
You will see and hear the word “Tru” this is the curriculum that will be used. They provide great insight, resources and tips to aide in the spiritual formation of your child. You will have access to a Homefront weekly that will give practical insight to the weekly lessons. These are designed to be done at home prior to coming to class on the following Sunday. Let’s bring God into our daily lives as a family.
Spiritual formation is about helping kids build a life-long relationship with God. This means giving them a strong foundation in biblical knowledge and being intentional about creating space for kids to encounter the living God. Through the process of spiritual formation, we desire children to open their hearts to God, learn His voice, have a desire to obey Him, and to do so in the power the Holy Spirit offers to each believer.
